When It Is Recommended

Hormonal testing may be recommended in cases of irregular menstrual cycles, suspected hormonal imbalance, fertility difficulties, or as part of the initial fertility assessment.  

How It Is Performed / Preparation

The testing plan is determined individually. The specific hormone markers to be assessed, as well as the timing within the menstrual cycle, are decided by the doctor.
